What happens when I exceed my Video Limit?

Events that are using video sources to help in sharing content with attendees will find relevant analytics within the Experience Manager to help in outlining any Video Limits, and the current usage of each video type that applies. 


These Video Types include: 

VIDEO TYPE

WHEN IS IT CONSUMED?

Streaming Hours

Video is streamed through RTMP. 

Example: Custom Live Stream or EventMobi Studio Video Experience types.

Live Viewer Hours

Video content is viewed via an RTMP source.

Example: Attendees watching a live stream video from the Event Space.

Video Hours

Video content is uploaded to the Video Library.

Note:  Live stream videos automatically uploaded by EventMobi will not apply towards the video limit. Deleting videos will also free up credit within the video limit. 

On-Demand Viewer Hours

Video content is viewed via content that originated from the Video Library. 

Note: This includes recorded live stream videos that were generated from EventMobi.

Will Access Be Restricted Once The Video Limit Is Reached?

Depending on the video content delivery method, a restriction may or may not apply once the limit has been fully reached.

Streaming Hours

Sharing video content through RTMP, i.e. Custom Live Stream and/or EventMobi Studio

None

Live Viewer Hours

Viewing content that is being shared through RTMP, i.e. Custom Live Stream and/or EventMobi Studio

None

Video Hours

Video content that has been uploaded to the Video Library.

Once the video limit for Video Hours has reached 100%, video uploads will no longer be possible.

Video within the Live Stream Recordings area cannot be moved to Video Storage once the limit has been reached. 

On-Demand Viewer Hours

Viewing video content that has originated from the Video Library.

Once the video limit for On-Demand Viewer Hours has reached 100%, on-demand videos that originated from the Video Library cannot be played. 


Will I Be Notified About My Video Usage Limits?

Once a Video Limit reaches 80%, an email communication will be sent to all event organizers listed within your Experience Organization. A warning banner will also appear in the Experience Manager to indicate your usage status. To ensure clarity on any possible additional charges that may apply if the limit is exceeded, it is recommended to contact your account manager for further information.
