Digital badges offer a great alternative to physical badges when events don't need to focus on networking or introductions. Internal events can manage access and attendance to their events by scanning a digital badge, instead of manually checking attendees off of a list.
A digital badge is automatically generated for each People profile that you create, and is fully integrated with the EventMobi Onsite App for check-in.
Assigning Digital Badges
Digital badges are assigned to each profile that is created, without any additional set up on your part. Each badge will include a QR code that contains a unique check-in code for the profile. A default check-in code can be assigned to each profile as you are creating them, or you can assign a custom check-in code to fit your check-in needs.
Assigning Custom Check-In Codes with Excel
Custom Check-In Codes can be assigned to Digital Badges using the Excel template available in the People library.
- Select the Import/Export option to Export the People list
- Assign a unique check-in code to each attendee using the Custom Check-In Code column
Assigning Custom Check-In Codes in Experience
The Check-In Code for Digital Badges can be adjusted after the profile has been added to the People library.
- Click on the profile you would like to edit in the People library
- Scroll to the Check-In Code area of the profile page
- Select the Custom option and input the check-in code that you would like to assign
Checking Attendees In with Digital Badges
Attendees can access their Digital Badge by visiting the My Badge area of the Event App.
Using the QR code available, attendees can be checked into the event or into sessions using EventMobi's Onsite App.
