How to use the Lead Capture App as Lead Capture Staff

As Lead Capture Staff, you have been given permissions to use the Lead Capture App and collect lead information onsite at an event. The following article and videos will take you through how to use the Lead capture App to collect leads at an upcoming event. 


Download and Log Into the Lead Capture App

Once you have been given the role of Lead Capture Staff, an automated email will invite you to download and log into the Lead Capture App.

Don't Have the Lead Capture App? Download the app from the App Store or Google Play

  • To login, use the same email password that you have set to log into the Event Space. If you can't remember your password, use the Forgot Password link to reset it. If you have not yet set a password, use the Send Me an Email Link to login using a magic link instead. Both of these options will require you to have access to your inbox so that you can action the automated emails that are sent. 
    Note: If you have chosen the Send Me an Email Link option to log into the app, you will need to select this option each time you login. To login using an email and password, log into the Event Space to set up your login credentials prior to accessing the Lead Capture App. 
  • If the email that you are using to login has not been assigned Lead Capture Staff permissions, an error message will appear. A Company Admin from your organization will have access to adjust your permission set within the Company Portal.

Once You Have Logged In:

  • If you have been set as Lead Capture Staff for multiple events, you can select the Event List option in the left menu to set which event you would like to collect leads for. 
  • Select the Language option in the left menu to adjust the language of the app, if needed.

Collect Lead Information Onsite 

  • Visit the Add Leads option in the Lead Capture by  EventMobi App
  • Scan Leads using the QR Code for the attendee (this can be found in the Attendee Dashboard) or select Add Manually to input the information about the lead that should be saved. 
  • In addition to capturing the lead name and contact details, you can set the Qualification of the lead using a star rating system from 1-5. 
  • If necessary, Additional Notes can also be included for additional context or information related to the lead that has been captured. 


Edit Leads You Have Collected:

  • Click View List or visit the Lead Collection area 
  • Select the lead that you would like to edit
  • Click on the Edit option located to the top right
  • Make changes to the lead information, and then click Done at the top right

View Collected Leads

You can see a complete list of all of the leads that were collected using the Lead Collection area of the Lead Capture by EventMobi App. From this area, a Search option will be available to look up a specific lead when needed. 

Each lead within the list will show the following details: 

  • Lead Name
  • Company Representative that captured the lead
  • Date and Timestamp of when the lead was captured

You can also click into the profile to review the details of the lead, including the Qualification and Notes that were saved. 


Need To Export Your Leads? A team member with a role as Company Admin will need to export your lead information from the Company Portal.
