Using the Company Portal for Lead Capture

How Company Admins can prepare their teams to use Lead Capture at an event.

As a Company Admin, you will have additional permissions and responsibilities related to preparing your team for exhibiting onsite. The following article and videos will take you through how to use the Company Portal to set up Lead Capture for an upcoming event. 


Updating your Company's Profile

After an event organizer has assigned you permission to the Company Portal, an automated email invitation will be appear in your inbox to give you access to login. This portal will give you access to manage your company's profile details, manage your company representatives and their permissions, and to manage Lead Capture for the upcoming event.

  • Use your email address to log in and create a password if you have not already done so. If you have already logged into the Event App, use the same password that you had set for your login credentials. 
  • Select the relevant event that you would like to work on.

  • The Company Details page allows you to edit the profile that will represent your company in the Event Space. 

 

Managing Company Representatives

  • The Representatives page is where you will see the list of representatives that have been added to company profile. 
  • Select the Edit option to update the role that is assigned to the representative, and what permissions they will have access to. 
    • Company Portal will give them access to the Company Portal to update your company's profile details, adjust representative roles and manage Lead Capture.
    • Lead Capture App will give them access to collect leads onsite with the Lead Capture App.
  • Adjust the Visibility on Event Space toggle to determine if the representatives profile should appear within the company profile on the Event Space. 
  • Select Resend Email when an email invitation needs to be resent to a company representative.
  • Use the Reorder Representative option to adjust the order that your representatives will appear within the company profile.

Create Qualifiers for Lead Capture

Create Lead Qualifiers to help your team in qualifying the leads that they are connecting with at the event. Qualifiers allow you to capture additional information from potential leads that can help to assess if they are the right fit for the products and services that your company offers. 

  • Visit the Lead Capture area of the Company Portal to access the Lead Qualifier page.
  • Select Add Lead Qualifier to create a new qualification question for your Lead Capture Staff.
  • Input the Qualifier Name  and select the Answer Type that will be used to capture lead data: 
    • Text creates an open field to capture information, such as phone number and address.
    • Rating creates a rating system of 1 to 5 stars, for example, to rate the overall quality of the lead. 
    • Date & Time creates a field to input a date and time, such as preferred contact time. 
    • Single Select creates a list of items where a single option can be selected, for example, to choose which specific industry the lead works in.
    • Multi-Select creates a list of items where multiple options can be selected, for example, to choose all products and services of interest to your lead.
    • Adjust the Visibility toggle to determine if the qualifier should be visible on the Lead Capture app. 
    • Use the Edit or Delete options to make changes to the qualifiers that you have created. 
    • Select Reorder Qualifiers to adjust the order that the qualifiers will display in the Lead Capture app. 
    • Reference the Google Play and App Store icons at the top left of the page to access the download links for the Lead Capture App. 

    Exporting Lead Information

    • Visit the Lead Collection page to view all of the data captured through the Lead Capture app. 
    • Select the View option to review the details of a specific lead or the Delete option to remove the lead from the list. 
    • Click on Export Leads to download the lead information collected. 

    Note: The option to export lead information will only be available to Company Admins within the Company Portal.
