# Setting Up an Integration with eShow
## Connecting your eShow event to EventMobi automatically transfers new registrants and registration details into your EventMobi event. This eliminates manual data entry and keeps your attendee list accurate and up to date. New to Integration Hub? What to Know Before You Start
**API access and limits**
eShow API access is provisioned by eShow, not generated in a self-serve settings page. Contact your eShow Client Services representative to request API access for your event and to confirm any API call limits on your account. When you reach a limit, syncing may be interrupted. With Real time timing, updates arrive from eShow by webhook, usually within one minute, while Data migration transfers existing registrants from a past period you choose.
**Understanding eShow data types**
- **Attendees:** Every registered individual in your eShow event is an Attendee record. This record holds the person's profile details, such as name, email, company and title.
- **Registrations:** This is the event-specific registration data tied to an Attendee, such as registration type and fees. By default, the EventMobi integration maps registrant data so the correct people are pulled into your specific EventMobi event.
Setting Up the Integration
**1. Install the solution in Integration Hub**
Head to Experience Manager, install the Integration Hub, and find the **eShow → EventMobi** solution.
**2. Install the scenario**
The eShow connection has one primary scenario, **Add or update attendees from eShow to EventMobi**, which covers both the add and update attendee workflows.
To install, click **Install** next to the scenario.
**3. Grant EventMobi access to eShow
**
Click **Grant Access** to open the configuration screen. Give your connection a name (anything that helps you recognize the eShow event or account you're connecting to), then paste in your eShow **Token**.
**To get your Token:**
1. Contact eShow Client Services (ClientServices@goeshow.com) or your eShow account representative.
2. Let them know you are setting up an integration with EventMobi and need API access for your event.
3. Ask for access to attendee and registration data for the event you want to sync.
4. eShow will supply your **Token**. Store it somewhere secure.
Finish setting up the connection by entering the Token in the *Create a connection to eShow* screen in EventMobi. Click **Continue** to finalize the link.
**4. Map your fields**
Now that your eShow connection is in place, tell the Integration Hub how to match data between eShow and EventMobi. This process is called field mapping, and it's key to making sure everything shows up where it should.
Next, select **Create a New Person**. Some standard fields, such as First Name, Last Name, External ID, Email, Title and Company, are mapped for you automatically.
**To map other standard or custom fields:**
1. Find the EventMobi field in the list.
2. Click it to open the dropdown.
3. Select the matching eShow field.
You only need to map the fields you need for your event. If there are eShow fields you don't plan to use in EventMobi, you can skip them. Once you've configured **Create a New Person**, repeat the same step for **Update a Person**.
> ℹ️ **Note:** The scenario includes an additional step called **Search a Person**, which checks whether an attendee already exists in EventMobi. If not, the integration creates a new person. If so, it updates the attendee with the new data from eShow. This step is configured automatically.
**5. Choose your automation timing and go live**
Under **Automation timing**, choose how the integration should sync:
- **Real time:** Once the automation is launched, new and updated registrants transfer from eShow to EventMobi via webhook, usually within one minute.
- **Data migration:** Transfers existing registrants from a specific period in the past. Use this when your eShow event already has registrations.
If your eShow event already has registrants, start with **Data migration**. The automation pauses once the migration is complete. When you're ready to sync new registrations, switch **Automation timing** to **Real time**.
Click **Start** to activate your integration. This turns on the automation and begins transferring registrants from eShow to your EventMobi event.
Once the automation is active, you can find it in the **My Installations** tab.
**6. Test your integration**
Run a quick test to make sure everything is syncing as expected.
1. Go to your eShow registration site and register a test attendee using a unique email address.
2. Wait for the integration to run (usually about a minute).
3. In EventMobi, navigate to **People Library → Attendees**.
4. Search for your test record to confirm the import.
