Setting Up an Integration from Eventbrite to EventMobi

Connecting Eventbrite to EventMobi is one of the most popular workflows in the Integration Hub. This automation ensures that as soon as someone registers on Eventbrite, their profile is instantly created in your EventMobi People library, ready for them to access the app.

What to Know Before You Start

  • Trigger Event: The integration typically triggers on a New Order or New Attendee in Eventbrite.

     

     

  • Email as ID: The system uses the registrant’s email address to verify if they already exist in EventMobi.

  • Ticket Types: You can choose to sync all ticket holders or filter by specific Ticket Classes (e.g., only "VIP" or "General Admission").

⚙️ Setting Up the Integration

1. Install the Solution

In the Experience Manager, go to the Integration Hub and select the Eventbrite → EventMobi solution. Click Install.

2. Install the Scenarios

Look for the scenario labeled Sync Eventbrite Registrants to EventMobi. Click Install.

3. Connect Your Accounts

  1. Connect Eventbrite: Click Grant Access. You will be redirected to Eventbrite to log in and authorize the connection.

     

     

  2. Select Your Event: In the configuration screen, you will see a dropdown menu. Select the specific Eventbrite Event you want to pull data from.

     

     

  3. Connect EventMobi: (If not already connected) Authorize the hub to access your specific EventMobi Event ID.

4. Map Your Fields

The mapping ensures the data from the Eventbrite checkout form lands in the right place in EventMobi.

  • Standard Mapping (Automatic):
            * First Name

    • Last Name

    • Email

  • Manual Mapping (Recommended):

    • Job Title → Title

    • Company → Company

    • Work Phone → Phone Number

[!NOTE] Custom Questions: If you asked custom questions on your Eventbrite order form (e.g., "What is your shirt size?"), make sure you have created a corresponding Custom Field in the EventMobi People library first. You can then map these "Order Questions" to your EventMobi fields.

5. Data Migration (Optional)

If you already have people registered in Eventbrite before setting up this integration:

  1. Go to the My Installations tab.

  2. Select Automation Timing (via the gear icon).

  3. Change to Data Migration and select a date range to pull in all previous registrants.

     

     

6. Go Live

Toggle the scenario to Start. The integration will now run in real-time.

🧪 Test Your Integration

To confirm the connection is "live":

  1. In Eventbrite: Create a manual order or register yourself using a test email.

  2. In EventMobi: Head to the People library in Experience Manager.

  3. Refresh: Within 60 seconds, your test profile should appear in the list.
