Creating Promo Codes for Core Registration
Promo Codes in Core Registration can be used to unlock hidden tickets and/or apply a discount—either a flat amount or a percentage—on specific tickets or the entire order.
- Visit the Promo Codes area of the Registration product in the Experience Manager.
- Select Add Promo Code and input the Name and Code you'd like to use for the promo code.
- Select Save & Continue to move on to updating the settings for your new promo code.
Setting Promo Code Quantities
Promo Codes can be restricted to a set quantity, ensuring they can only be used a specific number of times.
When creating or editing a Promo Code, enter a number in the Quantity field to define how many times the code can be applied during the registration process. Leaving the field blank will allow unlimited use.
Setting Promo Code Dates
You can control when a Promo Code is active by giving it a start and end date (and time). This makes sure the code is only used during your chosen promotional period.
To set this up, check the box for Define Promo Code Period and enter the dates and times you want the code to be available on your registration site.
Restricting Promo Codes to Individuals or People Groups
You can limit a Promo Code so it’s only available to certain People Groups or Individuals by selecting the Apply Eligibility Settings checkbox.
To use this option, make sure your People library includes the attendees who should have access to the code. Your registration site also needs to be set to either Private or Require Email as First Step.
