How to hide your profile from the Attendee list of the Event App.

Where To Find Your Profile Settings
Once you're logged into the Event App, select the image icon to the top right side and select the Preferences option available in the menu that appears.
This area of the Event App is where you can adjust the settings for:
- Networking
- Push Notifications
- Participant Listing (Attendee section)
- General Settings (Language & Timezone)
- Profile Deletion Request
How To Hide or Show Your Profile From The Attendee List
In the Networking area of the Preferences page, you'll need to select the toggle for Show My Profile to set if the profile should be hidden or appear in the Attendee List of the Event App.
Note: All People profiles are set to appear by default, but can be adjusted following the steps outlined above.
Why Isn't This Setting Showing For Your Profile?
The option to hide or show your profile from the Event App will only be available if the organizer has enabled this option for attendees to manage their profile visibility settings.
Profiles that have been added to sessions as a Speaker or to Company profiles as a Representative also won't not have the option to hide their profiles in the Event App.
To prevent others from sending you chat messages or appointment requests, you can update the Enable Messaging & Meetings toggle to remove these options from your profile.
Why Can't I Participate In Live Polls and Other Activities?
Profiles that are hidden from the Attendee list won't have access to participate in engagement features, such as:
- Live polls
- Session Chat
- Q&A
- Activity Feed
- Group Discussions
Note: To participate in these activities, update your profile visibility settings to show in the Attendee list.
